Cownt was built by two brothers, a hoof trimmer who works in the crush every day and a developer who turned that hands-on knowledge into software. Not a generic livestock management system, but a highly specialized tool that answers the real problems of daily trimmer work.

Everything stays on the device
Speech recognition runs entirely offline, on the tablet. The recording goes nowhere and is never stored.
Nine command languages
Polish, English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. The command language is independent of the app and report languages.
A whole sentence, not single words
Ear tag, leg and several treatments in one utterance. A twelve-digit number is checked against its checksum, so a misheard cow is rejected rather than saved.
The feature is marked experimental and we treat it that way. The model (~50 MB) is downloaded once, on demand. In a loud barn the voice pauses itself, because in noise recognition returns confident and wrong words. After every accepted command the app says what it wrote down.

Every feature grew from a real problem faced by a trimmer working in the crush, because one of Cownt's creators is one.
Lightning-fast procedure recording
The cow number from the keypad or a Bluetooth ear-tag scanner, then the leg, then a code from a ready list. Leg Mode moves to the next hoof by itself, and a duplicate ear tag is caught before you save the wrong cow.
PDF and Excel report in one click
After the visit you get a document with the treated animals, ICAR diagnoses, hoof photos and a cost summary — VAT, currency, discount, separate rates for tie-stall and free-stall barns, and your own billing positions. Both signatures go on the glass with a finger.
Cloud Sync, team and cross-company sync
Several crews on one farm? Cloud Sync keeps devices in step and merges the crews' results into one report for the farmer. Every change on a cow stays in the log, so it is clear who corrected what.
Cownt Portal, browser analytics
Sign in at portal.cownt.app from a computer: a herd health score from 0 to 100, lameness trends, high-risk cows and reports merged across sessions. You give the farmer the same view free of charge, with nothing for them to install.
Full offline operation
No coverage in the barn does not stop the work: Cownt records locally and you upload when you choose. The subscription runs offline for up to two weeks, so poor signal never locks you out mid-day.
Statistics and analytics charts
Three code catalogues to choose from: a basic one with sixteen, a full ICAR-aligned one with twenty-three, or one you build yourself from scratch. Plus a twenty-four-zone claw selector, medial and lateral sides, and mobility scoring on the AHDB or Sprecher scale.
You work in your language, the farmer reads in theirs.

Cownt lists on its own the clients you have not visited in more than six months. A typical trimming cycle is four to six months, so that list is not trivia — it is a call sheet.
