Your trimmer leaves a report after every visit. The Cownt portal joins those reports into one continuous history: you see not only what happened yesterday, but whether the herd is better than it was six months ago, and which cows keep coming back with the same problem.

You do not open an account with us or sign anything. Your trimmer grants the access, in three steps.

Give your trimmer your e-mail address
They enter it once, in your farm settings in the app. That is the only thing needed from you.

Register at portal.cownt.app
With that same e-mail address. Sign in with a password or a Google account, from any computer, tablet or phone.

You see your herd
Every visit, treatment, ICAR diagnosis and photo — including those from before you signed in, as long as your trimmer has synced them.
What you will see
The portal is a view to read, not a program to operate. The trimmer enters the data in the app; you look at it, filter it and export it.
The lameness trend
Whether the share of lame cows is rising, falling or flat — over 30 days, 90 days or 12 months.
Disease prevalence
What percentage of the herd has dermatitis, sole ulcer, white line disease and the other ICAR codes. It shows what is a real problem and what is a single case.
High-risk cows
A named list of animals that keep coming back with the same lesion on the same claw. This is the list worth showing your vet.
Distribution by leg
A chart showing whether the problem sits on the rear feet or spreads evenly. Rear claws are usually a different conversation from front ones.
Every cow’s history
Ear tag, all visits, treatments, notes and hoof photos. Also when several crews serve the farm — their reports can be merged into one.
Reports to download
Any visit, or any set of visits, downloads as PDF or Excel, with the code legend and the signatures from the day of the trimming.
Export to your herd management software
The portal exports in ICAR ADE format and as DairyComp 305 events, so you do not have to retype anything into your own system.
Why this costs nothing
The portal is free for the herd owner and will stay that way. There is no basic and paid tier, no cow limit and no visit limit. We do not ask for card details either.
The reason is simple: the trimmer pays the subscription, because they are the one working in the app every day. Your access is part of their tool, not a separate product that has to be sold to you. The better you understand what is happening in the herd, the more their work is worth — and the less often anyone has to ring up asking what exactly was done to that cow.

Tell them about us, or write to us yourself — we are happy to explain how it works from their side of the job. Herd access cannot be set up without a trimmer, because they enter the data, but the conversation can start from either end.
