Cownt Portal – The Bridge Between Trimmer and Farmer. Manage Reports Online.
The Cownt mobile app is an indispensable tool in the barn – fast, working offline, and precise. However, data analysis, reviewing herd history, or planning future visits are much more convenient on a large screen. That is exactly why portal.cownt.app was created – a free, web-based extension of the Cownt system.
The Cownt Portal is a space where the two sides of claw health care meet: the professional trimmer and the conscious farmer. Thanks to the browser version, data collected in difficult barn conditions are transformed into readable charts and tables, available from anywhere in the world.
Why is it worth using the Portal?
1. For the Trimmer: A Professional Showcase No more printing paper reports that get lost in the farm office. As a Cownt app user, after syncing data to the cloud, you gain access to a panel where you can comfortably review your work. But that’s not all – the Portal is a tool for building client relationships. By sharing a report online, you show that you operate transparently and modernly.
2. For the Farmer: Full Control Over the Herd The farmer doesn’t need to install any apps or buy subscriptions. They receive a clean, transparent view of their cows’ health status. They can check at any moment which animals require a re-check (CTR) or veterinary intervention (WET), without having to call the trimmer asking “what did we do a month ago?”.
How does access work? Simple security rules The Cownt Portal was designed to ensure data is safe and access is strictly controlled. There are no public registries here – you only see what is yours or what has been shared with you.
Access to data in the portal can be obtained in two ways:
A. You Are the Data Owner (Trimmer) If you are a trimmer using the Cownt mobile app:
- You perform synchronization in the mobile app (send data to the cloud).
- You log in to portal.cownt.app with the same account (email/Google) used on the phone.
- You see all your visits and farms. You have full control over what you share and with whom.
B. You Are a Guest (e.g., Farmer, Zootechnician) You don’t need to be a mobile app user or hold a Cownt license.
- After finishing work, the trimmer adds your email address to the list of people authorized to view a specific visit.
- You log in or register (if you don’t have an account yet) at portal.cownt.app using that email address.
- You gain immediate, free access to reports regarding your herd.
Completely Free This is the most important information: The Portal is a free extension of the system. We do not require a subscription – to log in to the portal and view reports, you don’t need an active plan. For Farmers, using the view access is always free.
